A Meditation on Word and Light

I believe…

Our Father…

Hail Mary…

Glory be to the Father…

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2Pet 1:2-4).

Our Father…

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God (John 1:1-2).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:3).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (John 1:4-5).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world (John 1:9).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not (John 1:10).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

He came unto his own, and his own received him not (John 1:11).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God(John 1:12-13).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life (1 John 1:1);

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us (1John 1:2);)

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will (Luke 2:14).

Glory be to the Father...
